J.S. Johnson & Company Ltd. Celebrates 100 Years Partnering with Hands for Hunger

On Saturday, March 2nd, J.S. Johnson & Company, Ltd. kicked off its 100th-year celebrations by giving back to the community. Joining forces once again with Hands for Hunger (H4H) non-profit organization, J.S. Johnson sponsored the first H4H Community Market of the year.

The management and staff of J.S. Johnson volunteered their time to help H4H distribute over 7,000 lbs. of fresh produce to more than 200 families within the Nassau Village community, free of charge.

“We are extremely grateful for J.S. Johnson’s partnership over the years and specifically the support of the Community Market that took place in Nassau Village,” said Zeleka Knowles, Executive Director, Hands for Hunger. “What it shows is that they have a lot of faith in our programs and through corporate partnerships, we’re able to make a quantifiable difference in communities.” 

As this year marks J.S. Johnson’s 100-year anniversary the company will be engaged with numerous events throughout the year doing its part as a good corporate citizen and giving back to the communities it serves.
