General Situation: Pre-frontal activity will move eastward across the NW Bahamas on Thursday ahead of a cold front entering the Extreme NW Bahamas early Friday. The cold front will become stationary across the Central Bahamas late Friday into early Saturday as a second weaker front moves into the NW Bahamas late Saturday. As the first front dissipates across the SE Bahamas the second front will become stationary across the NW Bahamas. A weak low pressure could form along the stationary front on Monday and move north-eastwards as cloudiness and unsettled weather affects the NW Bahamas. Another cold front will move near the NW Bahamas on Wednesday while another low pressure system shifts north-eastwards as it drags old frontal boundary through the Central and SE Bahamas.

Friday 25th – Partly to mostly cloudy and warm with some scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly across the NW and Central Bahamas during the daytime through night time. Mostly sunny and warm with the chance of a passing shower in the SE Bahamas, turning mainly fair at night. Maximum temperature 79°F and minimum temperature 68°F. Small craft advisory across the SE Bahamas early and a caution across the NW Bahamas by mid-morning. Winds S to SW at 10 to 15 knots veering NW to N at 15 to 20 knots in the NW Bahamas, SE’ly at 12 to 18 knots early in the Central Bahamas, decreasing to 10 knots or less later and E to SE at 15 to 25 knots early in the SE Bahamas, decreasing to 10 to 15 knots later. Seas 2 to 4 feet in the NW Bahamas, building to 4 to 6 feet later, 3 to 5 feet in the Central Bahamas, falling to 1 to 3 feet later and 5 to 8 feet in the SE Bahamas, decreasing to 2 to 4 feet later.

Saturday 26th – Partly to mostly cloudy, mild and a bit breezy at times across the NW Bahamas with few isolated showers during the daytime through nightfall. Partly to mostly sunny and warm in the Central and SE Bahamas with few scattered showers near Exuma and Cat Island, turning fair and warm at night except for cloudy and breezy conditions with few scattered showers in the Central Bahamas. Maximum temperature 77°F and minimum temperature 68°F. Winds N to NE at 10 to 15 knots in the NW and Central Bahamas and NE’ly at 10 knots in the SE Bahamas, falling light and variable at times. Seas 2 to 4 feet in the NW and Central Bahamas and 1 to 3 feet in the SE Bahamas.

Sunday 27th – Mostly cloudy to overcast, windy at times and warm with some scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across the NW Bahamas, becoming heavy to severe at times through nightfall. Partly to mostly sunny and warm in the Central and SE Bahamas with isolated showers mainly across the Central Bahamas, turning mainly fair and warm at night. Maximum temperature 75°F and minimum temperature 65°F. Small craft should exercise caution across the NW Bahamas and an advisory comes into effect later. Winds NE to NE at 15 to 20 knots in the NW Bahamas and NE to E at 10 knots or less in the Central Bahamas and SE’ly at 10 to 15 knots in the SE Bahamas, falling light and variable at times. Seas 4 to 6 feet in the NW Bahamas, building to 8 to 12 feet later, 1 to 3 feet in the Central Bahamas and 2 to 4 feet in the SE Bahamas.

Monday 28th – Partly to mostly cloudy, windy and warm with some scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across the NW Bahamas during the daytime, turning partly cloudy, windy at times and cool at night with scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms. Maximum temperature 76°F and minimum temperature 63°F. Small craft should exercise caution in the NW Bahamas. Winds NE’ly at 15 to 20 knots in parts of the NW and Central Bahamas and SW’ly at 10 knots or less in the SE Bahamas. Seas 4 to 6 feet over parts of the NW and Central Bahamas and 1 to 3 feet in the SE Bahamas.

Tuesday 29th – Partly cloudy and warm except for cloudy periods with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly across the Central and SE Bahamas during daytime through nightfall. Maximum temperature 77°F and minimum temperature 63°F. Winds NE to E at 10 to 15 knots in the NW and Central Bahamas and E to SE at 10 to 15 knots in the SE Bahamas, falling light and variable at times. Seas 2 to 4 feet over the entire Bahamas.

Wednesday 30th – Partly to mostly sunny, a bit breezy and warm with the chance of a scattered shower mainly across the Central and SE Bahamas. Partly cloudy to fair skies and mild at night with the chance of few scattered shower or a possible thunderstorm in the Central Bahamas. Maximum temperature 76°F and minimum temperature 65°F. Small craft should exercise caution across the NW and Central Bahamas. Winds N to NE at 15 to 20 knots across the NW and Central Bahamas and variable at 10 to 15 knots or less in the SE Bahamas. Seas 4 to 6 feet in the NW and Central Bahamas and 2 to 4 feet over the SE Bahamas.

Beachgoers and mariners should exercise extreme caution due to rough surf and the risk of dangerous rip currents along north and east coast beaches during stated advisories.
