Public access located near the Lucaya police station, has been restored says Grand Bahama Ministry of Tourism

Bahama Island - The Ministry of Tourism & Aviation is actively
engaged with our industry at all levels on Grand Bahama Island,
including the Our Lucaya Beach and Golf Resort, to grow our business in
these difficult times. While it is recognized that all resorts will
attempt to seek additional ways to grow their revenues, our Ministry
continues to believe that this imposition of a $30 fee for use of the
facilities is counterproductive to those efforts.

The procedure
to restrict public access to the beach facilities, via Retail Street was
initially implemented by the Management of Our Lucaya on April 14th,
2011 and, in consultation with the Ministry of Tourism, immediately
suspended...
