Firm's devices to reduce costs at reverse osmosis plant

Reduced expenses are on the way once expansion of the Water and Sewerage Corporation’s Blue Hills reverse osmosis plant is completed, with a global firm implementing infrastructure that will reduce energy and monetary costs.
U.S.-based company Energy Recovery Inc. (ERI) has been selected by Consolidated Water Co. (CWCO) — the corporation under contract to manage the Blue Hill plant until 2031 — to install its energy saving devices that will produce more affordable drinking water. Executive Vice President of ERI Borja Blanco said his company is looking foward to working on this multi-million-dollar project and collaborating with CWCO.
