After significant challenges with the online student registration system at the University of The Bahamas (UB) led to hundreds of students waiting on long lines for two days, UB President Dr. Rodney Smith yesterday extended the registration process and shifted the deadline for students to pay for courses.
Smith said despite implementing a new online registration system last summer, students encountered a number of circumstances which prompted the university to activate immediate contingencies.
