General Situation: A large high pressure system centered east of the Bahamas will continue to produce moderate to strong breezes across the area through Thursday. On Friday a cold front over Florida will move into the NW Bahamas by early Saturday, and then south-eastward through the Central and SE Bahamas by Sunday.

Wednesday 02nd
– Partly cloudy and warm with some showers likely across the Central and SE Bahamas during the daytime. Fair and mild at night with the chance of a shower. Maximum temperature 84°F and minimum temperature 72°F. Small craft should continue to exercise caution across the Central Bahamas and an advisory remains in effect across the SE Bahamas. Winds E’ly at 10 to 15 knots in the NW Bahamas; E’ly at 15 to 20 knots in the Central Bahamas and E’ly at 15 to 25 knots in the SE Bahamas. Seas 2 to 4 feet in the NW Bahamas; 4 to 6 feet in the Central Bahamas and 5 to 8 feet in the SE Bahamas.

Thursday 03rd – Partly sunny, breezy and warm with some scattered showers early, turning partly cloudy and breezy at night with few isolated showers likely. Maximum temperature 82°F and minimum temperature 72°F. Small craft should exercise caution in the NW and Central Bahamas and an advisory continues for the SE Bahamas. Winds E to SE at 15 to 20 knots in the NW and Central Bahamas and E’ly at 15 to 25 knots in the SE Bahamas. Seas 4 to 6 feet in the NW and Central Bahamas and 5 to 8 feet in the SE Bahamas.

Friday 04th – Partly sunny and warm with few passing showers, turning partly cloudy to cloudy with few scattered showers or isolated thunderstorms at night mainly across the NW Bahamas. Maximum temperature 85°F and minimum temperature 72°F. Small craft operators should exercise caution in the SE Bahamas. Winds SE to S at 10 to 15 knots, falling light and variable at times in the NW and Central Bahamas and E to SE at 15 to 20 knots in the SE Bahamas. Seas 2 to 4 feet over the ocean in the NW and Central Bahamas and 4 to 7 feet across the SE Bahamas.

Saturday 05th – Partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly along and ahead of frontal boundary through nightfall. Maximum temperature 78°F and minimum temperature 67°F. Winds SW to W at 10 to 15 knots in the NW and Central Bahamas, falling light and variable at times, turning NW’ly at 10 to 15 knots behind the front but SE to S at 10 to 15 knots in the Central and SE Bahamas. Seas 2 to 4 feet in the NW Bahamas, falling to 1 to 3 feet at times and 2 to 4 feet over the Central and SE Bahamas.

Sunday 06th – Partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly across the Central and SE Bahamas through nightfall. Maximum temperature 77°F and minimum temperature 66°F. Winds N to NE at 10 to 15 knots, falling light and variable at times in the NW and Central Bahamas and ENE to ESE at 10 to 15 knots in the SE Bahamas. Seas 2 to 4 feet in the NW and Central Bahamas and 2 to 4 feet in the SE Bahamas.

Beachgoers and mariners should exercise caution due to rough surf and the high risk of rip currents along eastern shorelines during stated advisories.
