Former fugitive Danella Nixon no longer faces the prospect of giving birth in prison.
Nixon, 29, was yesterday freed on $125,000 bail on drug and firearm possession charges.
Deputy Chief Magistrate Carolita Bethell originally denied bail for Nixon who is eight months pregnant because she considered her a flight risk.
Police had been looking for Nixon since 2008 in connection with two separate drug seizures.
Police finally caught up with Nixon last month. However, Magistrate Ancella Evans-Williams, who will hear the case, approved bail for Nixon.
