General Situation: A weakening stationary front continues to linger just south of the Bahamas and will gradually wash out. High pressure centered across Florida will dominate the weather across the Bahamas in wake of the front and will shift eastwards through the weekend and into next week. Another cold front is expected to move into the Bahamas on Wednesday with associated shower and possible isolated thunderstorms. High pressure and cooler conditions will follow the front.

Thursday 29th – Partly sunny, breezy and cool with the chance of a spotty shower or two during the day. Mainly fair and cool at night. Maximum temperature 77°F and minimum temperature 63°F. Winds NE at 10 to 15 knots in the NW and Central Bahamas and NE to E at 15 knots in the SE Bahamas. Seas 2 to 4 feet over the ocean but up to 6 feet in northeasterly swells in the NW and Central Bahamas and 3 to 5 feet in northeasterly swells in the SE Bahamas.

Friday 30th – Partly cloudy to cloudy with a few spotty showers possible during the day. Partly cloudy and breezy at night with a passing shower or two possible. Maximum temperature 80°F and minimum temperature 66°F. Small craft operators should exercise caution. Winds E to SE at 10 to 15 knots in the NW and Central Bahamas increasing to 15 to 20 knots late and NE to E at 15 to 20 knots in the SE Bahamas. Seas 2 to 4 feet over the ocean in the NW and Central Bahamas building 4 to 6 feet late and 4 to 6 feet in the SE Bahamas.

Saturday 1st – Partly cloudy and breezy isolated showers possible during the day. Partly cloudy and breezy with a passing shower or two possible at night. Maximum temperature 83° and minimum temperature 69°F. Small craft operators should exercise caution. Winds SE to S at 15 knots in the NW and Central Bahamas and E to at 15 to 20 knots across the SE Bahamas. Seas 3 to 5 feet over the ocean in the NW and Central Bahamas and 4 to 6 feet across the SE Bahamas.

Sunday 2nd – Partly sunny and warm with a few isolated showers possible during the day. Fair and warm with a passing showers or two possible at night. Maximum temperature 83°F and minimum temperature 71°F. Small craft operators should exercise caution. Winds SE to S at 15 knots in the NW and Central Bahamas and E to SE at 15 to 20 knots in the SE Bahamas. Seas 3 to 5 feet over the ocean in the NW and Central Bahamas and 4 to 6 feet in the SE Bahamas.

Monday 3rd – Partly sunny, warm and a bit breezy mainly in the Central and SE Bahamas with a few spotty showers possible during the day. Mainly fair and warm at night. Maximum temperature 84°F and minimum temperature 72°F. Small craft operators should exercise caution in the Central and SE Bahamas. Winds SE to S at 10 to 15 knots in the NW Bahamas and E to SE at 15 to 20 knots in the Central and SE Bahamas. Seas 2 to 4 feet over the ocean in the NW Bahamas and 4 to 6 feet in the Central and SE Bahamas.

Tuesday 4th – Partly sunny, warm and breezy with the chance of isolated showers during the day. Partly cloudy with a few scattered showers at night. Maximum temperature 86°F and minimum temperature 73°F. Winds SE to S at 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet over the ocean.

Wednesday 5th – Partly cloudy to cloudy and breezy with scattered showers and the chance of a few isolated thunderstorms. Maximum temperature 85°F and minimum temperature 72°F. Small craft operators should exercise caution in the NW Bahamas. Winds SW to W at 15 knots in the NW Bahamas ahead of the front becoming NW to N at 15 to 20 knots and gusty behind the front and SE to S at 10 knots in the Central and SE Bahamas. Seas 3 to 5 feet over the ocean in the NW Bahamas ahead of the front building 4 to 7 feet behind the front and 1 to 3 feet in the Central and SE Bahamas.

Beachgoers and mariners should exercise caution due to rough surf and the high risk of rip currents along the northern and eastern shorelines during stated advisories.
