The creative minds behind the country’s premier artisan chocolate boutique and factory, Bootleg Chocolates, have unveiled a series of decadent treats just in time for the holiday season.

Bootleg Chocolates is preparing to launch its ‘Bahama Nights Buttercreams’ which seamlessly blend an old-fashioned chocolate taste with a modern island twist.

“This collection was inspired by all the things we love about traditional Bahamian nights,” explained head Chocolatier and co-owner, Daphne Ormerod-Cates.

“Each piece is infused with flavors that we love like mango and papaya and more unique flavors like green tea and darjeeling.”

Daphne who is the mother of the mother /daughter team at Bootleg Chocolates has been at the helm of the business for the past 15 years growing the brand into the leading provider of artisanal chocolates for high-end boutique hotels, premier events, and one-of-a-kind retailers.

From the hotels at Baha Mar to The Island House and Pelican Bay, the Bootleg brand has quickly become to the go-to name in artisanal chocolates.

Bootleg is adding this new Nights selection to the company’s already impressive product line which includes ganaches with familiar Bahamian flavors like Guava Duff and caramels with Bahamian Sea Salt + Hibiscus.

Their newest buttercream delights come in flavors like blood orange, milk chocolate praline, papaya chai, and mango green tea.

The holiday collection will also include Bootleg’s chocolate caramel turtles; bite-sized stocking stuffers, which make perfect gifts for the chocolate lovers in your life or as corporate gifts.

“Every Christmas we try to introduce new products and flavors that complement the season,” said Amanda Ormerod-Mullen - Bootleg Sales and Marketing Manager.

“We plan to unveil this collection at the upcoming Jollification Festival in New Providence, held at the Bahamas National Trust Retreat on November 17 & 18”, she explained.

“This will give our returning customers and we hope new customers, the opportunity to sample and of course purchase our new lines.”
