The Caribbean Bottling Company is helping the Government High School basketball team get ready for the 2018 season with some new basketballs. The team, lead by Coach Theodore Hanna, received 22 basketballs and several nets to help them practice their drills, offense and defense for the upcoming school year.

Coach Hanna recently lead his team, the Band Camp, to victory in this summer’s Sprite Basketball Tournament, and the veteran basketball enthusiast and physical education teacher hopes that the sport will help the young students at Government High learn discipline, camaraderie and sportsmanship. He notes that he is grateful for Caribbean Bottling’s support and he is looking to lead his team through a successful season.

“This summer, we recently celebrated 10 years of hosting the Sprite Basketball Tournament. We recognize the positive impact that sports can have on the lives of young men and women, and we are happy to provide assistance to the Government High School Basketball team,” noted Nikia Wells, CBC Marketing Manager – Communications. “We wish them a successful season and look forward to helping them stay hydrated with Powerade and Dasani.”
