The Cancer Society of Long Island will host their 5th Annual Ball of Hope this month, and the Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC) is proud to once again be a supporter of the event.

The group, which aims to educate and assist Long Islanders who are currently battling cancer, will host their annual fundraising event on Sept. 29 at the Lloyds Restaurant and Sporting Lounge, in Turtle Cove, Long Island. The event will raise resources for programs like Home Visits, which aims to assist cancer fighters and survivors who are currently homebound.

“Cancer is a devastating illness that impacts the lives of many Bahamians. At CBC we want to do our part to help those who are bravely fighting the disease by supporting groups like the Cancer Society of Long Island” noted Nikia Wells, CBC Marketing Manager of Communications.
