Bahamian youth to march on U.S. capital

It isn’t everyday that you get to represent your country on a global scale and let your views on international affairs be heard by leaders from around the world. Even for aspiring young leaders it is but a dream to see the United Nations in session and experience people from more than 100 cultures mingling togther in one room.
For 16-year-old Rebekah Rolle it is not a dream. The Government High School junior is excited knowing that everyday she wakes up, it means one less day to wait and the time is drawing closer to when she will be the Bahamian youth delegate to the 2011 Global Youth Leaders Conference (GYLC), Saturday July 11 to Thursday, July 23.
