For hundreds of students on the island of Abaco, August 25 was the perfect way to conclude their summer holiday, as they gathered at the Patrick J. Bethel High School for the 3 rd annual Back-To-School Extravaganza hosted by Sun Oil Limited.

Sun Oil Limited Marketing Manager, Rufus Johnson II noted that the company was elated to once again be able to assist with helping the kids prepare to get back into the classrooms as they seek to enhance their knowledge in an effort to ready themselves to provide a positive contribution to their community and The Bahamas at large.

“Abaco has embraced us and shown us love throughout the many years that we have been present on the island,” he said.

“We just want to continue to give back to this wonderful community”.

At the event, students were given bags, pencils, pens, notebooks, etc. Sun Oil also provided barbers and hairbraiders, to cater to all the students in attendance, all free of charge.

Colina assisted with providing a nurse to take the kids pressure and other checks, and Pilot Club of Abaco showed up to lend their full support in assisting with the distribution of food and school materials.

“The kids have gotten an extra boost in getting ready for school,” said Johnson.

“That puts a smile on their faces and their smiles put a smile on our faces.” Sun Oil Limited remains committed to fueling growth for people.
