Drug case delayed by accuseds illness

WITNESS testimony in the $280,000 Dwight Major drug case was yesterday adjourned to September 4 after Major's attorney submitted a sick certificate to the court on his behalf.
Major, 50, who is on trial for conspiracy to possess dangerous drugs with intent to supply and possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply stemming from an April 4 incident, was due to appear before Magistrate Samuel McKinney yesterday to hear his decision on whether the court would recuse itself in the case.
