Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis has fired Golden Isles MP Vaughn Miller from his position as a parliamentary secretary after Miller voted last night against the VAT increase.

Miller thanked the prime minister for the opportunity to serve and said his vote was not a vote against the prime minister or the party, but was a matter of conscience.

Bains and Grants Town MP Travis Robinson was also fired as a parliamentary secretary.
