The New Providence Softball Association (NPSA) opened its 2018 season on Tuesday night on the Bankers Field at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex.

In the men’s game, the Commando Security Truckers defeated the Chances Mighty Mitts 13-0, and in the ladies game, the Platinum Pool Sharks took down the BTC Lady Warriors 12-5.

Both games ended early as the mercy rule was enforced.
