Atario Mitchell did not think that a $5,000 self starters grant that birthed Bahamas Striping, would quickly evolve to the multi-layered group of companies that is today inclusive of Airport Maintenance Services, Caribbean Pavement Solutions, Bahamas Themed Photography and Abaco Caribbean Holdings, which are all under the umbrella of the Bahamas Striping Group of Companies.

Mitchell not only saw an opportunity to develop a skill in road striping, but an opportunity to give back to each community the company worked in through their work and in other tangible ways. The company has set a primary goal and objective of extending its hand to the community at large, as well as providing empowerment to young Bahamian entrepreneurs through as many different mediums as possible.

Among the many success stories of the Bahamas Striping Group of Companies, one of the most memorable is when the dream to expand his business internationally became a reality for Atario Mitchell. In 2017, BSGC secured and successfully completed its very first regional assignment to mark seven miles of road in Turks and Caicos.
