Determined to serve and give back to the community in which its customers are a part, gaming magnate, “A Sure Win”, is holding its first ever Blood Drive on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at its Mario’s Bowling & Entertainment Palace.

The Blood Drive, was an effort of A Sure Win and officials from the Princess Margaret Hospital blood bank. This effort is a part of the company's focus on community building.

"We believe that we have a responsibility to helping communities on various levels,” said CEO, Leander Brice. “A blood drive is a great way for us to help save lives.  We recognize that the blood bank is always in need of blood supplies and so we are dedicating our resources to helping to replenish our supplies”.

"Our customer base is vast and so we are capitalizing on our ability to potentially reach thousands of possible donors.  We have also encouraged our employees to sign up and participate."

A Sure Win stands out as one of the most successful gaming operations in the country and it prides itself on being a good corporate citizen. The charitable arm of the company – The Brice Newball Foundation – has “stepped up its game” and focused more on community outreach after the industry came under heavy fire in recent months.

"We hope this event on Wednesday will inspire people and remind them that the need for blood donations never wains,” says Co Chief Executive Officer - Garvin Newball. “A single trauma or a busy weekend in accident and emergency can place a huge strain on blood supplies.  And so it is our hope that those who give today will inspire others to remember the blood bank at all times."

Besides the usual liquids from the PMH Blood Bank to replenish, donors will also receive thank you gifts from A Sure Win; the company’s way of showing appreciation for the life-saving donations.
