Style Office Solutions (SOS) recently opened the doors to its brand new showroom in Nassau. The new facility provides architects, designers, and clients an exhibition space to see and touch unique and varying office furniture solutions.

SOS was developed a few years ago in Freeport, Grand Bahama, as a contract furnishing and design firm and has progressed and emerged as a turnkey firm, providing a one stop shop for its clientele.

President/Lead Designer, Monique Graham, indicated that in the Bahamas, Bahamians are so accustomed to ordering everything out of a catalog, and it has been the mindset for so long, and management simply decides to give their employees any old chair.

“With this industry, it is becoming more apparent that if you invest in your staff, providing them with a comfortable ergonomic chair they will sit longer with less aches, therefore allowing them to be more productive and ultimately adding to the profitability of the company. The idea of investing in your employees then transitions into providing your staff with a nice desk with adequate storage, adding to the overall feel and look of the workplace" she added.

In celebration of its grand opening, Mr. Jason Lorandos, of Architekton Design Studio Bahamas Ltd, was selected as the winner of a brand new “Vion” chair, which he indicated was an answer to prayer and a much needed replacement for his old office chair.

Architekton Design Studio Bahamas Ltd., is an architectural firm that is constantly exploring opportunities and potential for integrated collaborative design based on new technologies and organizational systems.

“I was attracted to Style Office Solutions because they provide a fresh face and approach to the commercial, corporate and office outfitting services available in Nassau.” said Lorandos.

He added, “Seeing that I spend many hours a day seated in the office, a comfortable chair is extremely important and over the past six days of using the new ergonomic chair, I have found it to be very comfortable and I am not moving around trying to re-find the comfortable position I start my day with.”

Having been open for only approximately one month, SOS, has already commenced its quest to make waves in the island of New Providence through its Showroom. SOS enters the Nassau market with the objective of assisting local business establishments and the design community with product lines that are on the cutting edge of design due in part to its long-established partnership with a Canadian company, Global Group of Companies. Global encompasses a full scope of furniture from the office to the home office, to hospitality, healthcare and education.
