General Situation: Broad high pressure ridge will continue to produce sunny and mostly dry conditions across the Bahamas as it weakens through Thursday. A cold front will move off South Florida’s coastline by late Friday and it will produce some clouds and showers as it traverse the length and breadth of the Bahamas on Saturday. Drier and cooler air from the northwest will bring a blanket of low level clouds on Sunday with the slight chance of a shower.

Tuesday 27th – Mostly sunny and warm with few scattered showers likely across the Extreme NW and SE Bahamas, turning fair and mild at night. Maximum temperature 84°F and minimum temperature 68°F. Small craft should exercise caution in the SE Bahamas. Winds NE to E at 10 to 15 knots in the NW and Central Bahamas, falling light and variable at times and NE’ly 15 to 20 knots in the SE Bahamas. Seas 2 to 4 feet across the NW and Central Bahamas and 4 to 6 feet in the SE Bahamas.

Wednesday 28th – Mostly sunny and warm with the chance of isolated showers during the day. Fair and mild at night. Maximum temperature 84°F and minimum temperature 70°F. Winds E’ly at 10 to 15 knots in the NW and Central Bahamas, falling light and variable at times and NE’ly at 15 to 20 knots early in the SE Bahamas, decreasing to 10 to 15 knots or less later. Seas 2 to 4 feet in the NW and Central Bahamas and 4 to 6 feet in the SE Bahamas, falling to 2 to 4 feet later.

Thursday 01st – Mostly sunny and warm with the slight chance of an isolated shower during the day. Fair and warm at night. Maximum temperature 85°F and minimum temperature 72°F. Winds variable at 10 knots or less for all areas at first but becoming SW to W at 10 to 15 knots by afternoon in the NW Bahamas. Seas 3 feet or less over all areas but building to 2 to 4 feet by afternoon in the NW Bahamas.

Friday 02nd – Mostly sunny, breezy and warm with few isolated showers along the front during the day. Mainly fair and warm at night with isolated showers likely across the NW Bahamas. Maximum temperature 84°F and minimum temperature 72°F. Small craft should exercise caution in the Extreme Bahamas. Winds W to NW at 15 to 20 knots at times in the Extreme NW Bahamas and W to NW at 10 to 15 knots elsewhere, falling light and variable at times.

Saturday 03rd – Partly cloudy, breezy and warm with few isolated showers along the front during the day. Partly cloudy with few lingering showers near the front at night. Maximum temperature 81°F and minimum temperature 66°F. Small craft should exercise caution across the entire Bahamas. Winds NNE to NNW at 15 to 20 knots with stronger gusts over all areas. Seas 4 to 7 feet over the ocean for all areas.

Sunday 04th
– Partly to mostly cloudy, breezy and mild with the chance of quick passing showers over all areas. Maximum temperature 78°F and minimum temperature 65°F. Small craft should continue to exercise caution for all areas. Winds N to NE at 15 to 20 knots over all areas and seas 4 to 7 feet for all areas.

Beachgoers and mariners should exercise caution due to rough surf and the high risk of rip currents along the northern and eastern shorelines during stated advisories.
