The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and Aviation (MOTA) has teamed up with MunaLuchi Bride, the number one multi-cultural magazine and online marketplace weddings and events global company, to hold the first Muna Love Bridal Affair (Bahamas). The show, which will be the first in the Caribbean region, will be held on February 18, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the British Colonial Hilton Resort in Nassau.

“Guests planning to attend the ticketed ($40 brides, $45 for vendors, $75 VIP) event can expect to experience a non traditional cooker-cutter bridal show, as the Muna Love Affair is a wedding experience designed to inspire brides and combines culture, style and fashion with fun,” said Nicole McKenzie, Director of Sales and Marketing, MunaLuchi Bride.

“We are excited to be afforded the opportunity to bring The Muna Love Affair to The Bahamas and work with amazing people such as the British Colonial Hilton Hotel and the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, who have shown us nothing but great hospitality and an overwhelming excitement to bring the wedding industry to their island. It was an easy decision for us to say yes, because of the great relationship we have built with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism over the years. It’s an honor for MunaLuchi Bride to be in The Bahamas, our first bridal tour in the Caribbean,” she said.

Since 2012, MunaLuchi has toured 16 cities across the United States, producing curated events, that connects engaged couples to wedding vendors and event professionals.

In addition to the Muna Love Affair, MunaLuchi also produces a ‘coterie’ retreat and bridal symposium each year. The three-day event brings 200 of the most influential wedding industry professionals together, in a preferred destination, to network and learn of the newest trends and opportunities in the industry. MunaLuchi is considering holding its 2019 or 2020 coterie retreat in The Bahamas.

“As one of the hottest wedding destinations in the Caribbean, offering a level of diversity which speaks directly to the charm, culture and romantic experiences – the Islands of The Bahamas continues to position itself as the Destination of Romance. An array of offerings within the romance sectors such as weddings, honeymoons, vow renewals, marriage proposals sets us apart. We are thrilled of the opportunity to work with MunaLuchi on this exciting promotion and are equally excited to have them experience, what we know already, that when it comes to romance, it is always better in The Bahamas,” said Freda Malcolm, Director of Romance at The Bahamas MOTA.
