Bible Teacher, speaker and author, Dr. Susan J. Wallace presented Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Hubert Minnis with copies of all books she has written thus far. Dr. Wallace has authored 12 books, with two more presently in the writing stages.

A few of the books were collections of her poetry, for which she has been popular; however, most of the books were Christian books covering various topics of Biblical teachings.

One of Dr. Wallace’s books “Bahamian Scenes,” a collection of short stories from a Bahamian perspective, is being used in the public schools as a part of the BGCSE examinations.

In accepting the books, Prime Minister Minnis said that he was happy to see that Dr. Wallace’s book has become a part of the school curriculum.

He encouraged other writers to pursue their dreams of becoming authors, and particularly invited them to tell the Bahamian story.

The Prime Minister said he was happy to have received the books and promised Dr. Wallace he would indeed make a point to read the collection.
