It was a weekend of limitless fun, sun and phone support on Grand Bahama Island as #TeamBTC participated and supported various sporting events taking place around the island.

BTC was back onboard as title sponsor of the Second Annual Edward St. George Golf Tournament, held at the Grand Lucayan, Reef Golf Course. Local and national golf enthusiasts showed off their skills as they paid homage to the late Port Chairman.

After spending the day 'putting on the greens’ #TeamBTC took to the open water to support the dynamic young swimmers participating in the Grand Bahama Tritons Annual Open Water 5k Swim Race held on Fortune Beach. While also supporting local Greek organizations from the Zeta Rho Sigma Chapter, for the first old-school session of kickball at the Emera Baseball Park on Queens Highway.

Not to be outdone, indoors sports fans packed the Pool Hall for the Annual Bernie Russell Pool Tournament which reintroduced ladies play at the event. To round off the weekend of Northern Sports support, the BTC Blazers also recently took possession of the second place trophy and game day ball from this year's National Round Robin Baseball Championship at the National Softball Tournament in New Providence.

“TeamBTC had a busy weekend, proudly supporting the local sports community here in Freeport,” said Northern VP Eldri Ferguson-Mackey. Grand Bahamians love their sports and are an active community, BTC is here for them and to encourage our clients to enjoy the spirit of the game and camaraderie”.
