Bahamas Power and Light Company Ltd. (BPL), believes in building a healthier Bahamas by supporting The Breast Centre’s Celebration of Life Cancer Awareness initiative.

“BPL is committed to raising awareness by supporting campaigns like these, as breast cancer is prevalent and the leading cancer in Bahamian women,” said Diana Sands, Corporate Communications Manager, BPL.

The Breast Centre hopes that women are screened for breast cancer every year. As a result, the Centre has been reduced the cost to $50.00 per exam during the month of October. In addition, each week of the month, lucky customers will be drawn and invited to a special Mammogram Party. The event will be held at The Breast Centre on October 29, 2017 where they will receive prizes and surprises.

“We would like to thank BPL for partnering with us to save lives and helping to bring Breast Cancer Awareness to the people of The Bahamas,” said Domica Davis, Marketing & Public Relations Officer, The Breast Centre.
