Meet the Contestants of The Le'Chic Production/T. Z.'s Bayview: Lil, Junior & Miss Fox Hill Enrichment Pageant

A group of young ladies, proudly representing the “Great Fox Hill Community”. As the Enrichment Pageant 2017 draws near, it’s time for you to meet our amazing contestants.

These ladies are dressed to represent the Queens of Africa, which they each have selected and will be displaying throughout the pageant.

They have researched their queens, which allowed them to learn about powerful women that made a difference during their reign.

These young ladies will show case their queens in a dynamitic way during their Float on Saturday 11th November, 2017 @2pm. The route for the float is as follow: Leaving the Fox Hill Community Center heading south to Prince Charles. Down Prince Charles to Solider Road, on to Village Road to Montague. Then up Shirley Street on to Bay Street. Pass through Down Town head on to East Bay Street back to Montague, back up Village Road to Bernard Road back to the Fox Hill Community Center.

Mikayla Williams, born to the parents of Michelle and Gary Williams, she’s the youngest with three older sisters and one brother. Mikayla attends Progress Academy where she is in her first year of primary school. Her favorite subjects is Reading. She’s a faithful member of St. Anselm’s Roman Catholic, Girl Guide, and this year Mikayla will be advancing from a “Sun Flower” to a “Brownie”. Every Saturday Mikayla attends Confraternity of Christian Doctrine where she learns more about the bible and catholic way, she is now on level two and next year she will be preparing to take part in Holy Communion. Mikayla loves to read, watch movies, dance and play “make Believe”. When she grows up she wants to be a veterinarian, because of her love for puppies. 

Shadiamond Dames is seven years old and she attends See Saw Christian Academy where she is in the second grade. Shadiamond is full of energy and loves life. Her smile lights up a room and you are sure to get a laugh, because she does not like to see you sad. She attends St. Anselm’s Roman Catholic. Shadiamond would like to be a doctor when she grows up, she loves to read and dance.

Gabrielle Moss is nine year old student of San Pedro International school. Gabrielle's desire is to become ambassador, she loves The Bahamas and she wants to represent HER country. Her hobbies are swimming, dancing and conversing in Spanish. She loves helping other and showing love to everyone.

Hailly Madison Blair Williams is the youngest of three children. She is nine years old to the parents of Glenroy and Michelle Williams. Hailly is in grade five of Sadie Curtis School, an Honor Roll student for the past four years. Her focus is to become head girl at her school. Hailly would like to become a Medical Doctor and she has a passion for dancing. She has represented the Bahamas twice this year in two International Dance competitions, Dallas Texas and Cleveland Ohio where she won two platinums.

Alexandria Amber Miller, affectionately known as Alex, was born to the proud parentage of Mr. Ricardo Alexander & Mrs. Loniece Lorette Miller. She has 2 siblings Alexcys & Alyssa whom she loves dearly. Alexandria attended Wee Wisdom Kindergarten School from the age of 2 years old, where she remained on the Honor Roll and Principal’s List until she graduated in 2011 with honors. She received certificates for the Most Outstanding Student among others. She is presently attending Bahamas Academy Secondary School where she remains on the Honor Roll. Alexandria entered grade 7 in September 2017. Alexandria aspires to become a Pediatrician, and this is evident, because of her love for children, and the love she shows to her siblings when they are not feeling well. Her hobbies include, but are not limited to Singing, Dancing, and Reading.

Tinique Rose Marshanique Fernander is a sweet, intelligent, young lady, who loves to read and is a super energetic nine year old. Tinique attends Charles W. Saunders Baptist School, where this past school year she received the Principle's List Award for Academic Excellence. She worships at St. Bead's Catholic Church, she really loves Jesus, and has a desire to make a difference in the world. Being a part of this pageant for Tinique has boosted her confidence more as she has grown out of being shy to a more out going person. When Tinique grows up she would love to become a teacher. She enjoys dancing, modeling, riding her bike and spending time with her family. Her favorite quote is “little girls with dreams, become women with visions”.

Cheyanne Kristen Giselle Davis is an inquisitive, intelligent, quiet but loving young lady. She loves to read and pushes herself to strive for the best. This has afforded Cheyanne in many position and awards such as, valedictorian for both primary and Junior School, Numerous Honor Rolls and Principal Lists Awards, the Superintendent Award and amount many others, The Janet Nixon Award. This year her hard work afforded her the privilege of a scholarship to the St. Andrew’s International School. Cheyanne aspires to become a Corporate Lawyer and once she has obtained her college degree she will seek to open her own firm. Cheyanne believe that no matter what obstacle is thrown her way as long as she depends on God help to see her through and the strong family that she will be an over comer.

La Tifia Natalia Cockburn is born to the parents of Corrodon and La Toya Cockburn, where she is the oldest and has a baby brother. La Tifia is bless to have her grandmother, Nathalie Marcus who is a teacher and educator, play such a big role in her life. She was taught by her grandmother how to read by the age of two. La Tifia started school at the age of three and she attended See Saw Christian Academy Elementary School to the fifth grade. Whiles there she obtained many awards such as Principal’s Award, Honor Roll student with a G.P.A of 4.00. The Dolphin Encounter Art Competition, where she was awarded first place for depicting the Safety of Marine Species in the Bahamas for being Extinct. La Tifia now attends Gifted Students Home School, where at the age of twelve, she passed five Bahamas Junior Certifcate with grades of A’s and B’s. She is now preparing to take her BGCSE. La Tifia plans to become a Medical Doctor upon completing university.

Aneka Parks is a 16 year old young lady that attends the Doris Johnson Senior High School. Aneka loves playing Soccer, dancing and breading. She is very talented. She has a caring heart for the well being of others and has a desire to become a doctor. She is kind hearted and soft spoken but very stern and believes that if you work hard you will achieve your goal, and if you lose you aren’t finished, but if you quit you can never win.

Rusheda Sinclair is an 18 year old young lady that is intelligent, outgoing and loves to laugh. She is a college prep student, and she aspires to become one of the Bahamas best chefs. Rusheda is a professional fire dancer for the Le’Chic Production.

Verniquah Anthea Philica Moss is a 17 years old young lady born to the parents of Vernon and Alinda Moss. She is a proud member of Commonwealth Mission Baptist Church. She is a pass graduate of the prestigious Doris Johnson Senior High School, where she received her High School Diploma from the Class of 2017. Verniquah has a current 3.50 GPA and is now a student of the great University of The Bahamas, where she is majoring in Culinary Arts. Verniquah's desire is to graduate from The University of the Bahamas, and become an Executive Chef, opening her very own restaurant business. Her number one personal philosophy is to commit to unconscious competence rather than cognitive understanding.
