As of 8:00am Friday 8th September, Irma is a Category 4 hurricane with 150-mph winds. Moving WNW at 14mph.

Long Island will be receiving some harder rain and wind later on today as the storm passes over.

There is some incredible devastation reported throughout the Caribbean already as Hurricane Irma continues to pass through.

Hurricane warnings are still in full effect for the entire Bahamas.
