OVER 180 customers walked away as winners this summer due to Wendy’s & Coca Cola “$20K Summer Cash Bonanza Go Large Promotion!” The 6-week promotion across 11 of the Wendy’s locations in New Providence and Grand Bahama was truly rewarding.
Grand Prize winners took home cash jackpots of $5k, $3k and $2k, weekly winners each received $500 cash and remote attendees won gift certificates to their favorite spots and cool promotional items.
The purchase of a large Wendy’s combo or salad with Dasani water gave customers access to $20,000 in cash and giveaways. The timing was impeccable for winners as the period included last minute vacation travel, preparations for back to school and birthday celebrations.
$5,000 Grand Prize winner Devantell Rolle expressed composure from finding out she was a finalist to winning the most amount of cash! In flipping over the card that determined whether she would win cash or a fully loaded gift bag she uttered to herself “Oh My Gosh, that’s a 5!”
Devantell overjoyed with excitement plans to spend her winnings living it up in Miami, FL and furnishing a new apartment.
$3,000 Grand Prize winner Loaynas Bernard prayed and her prayers were answered! “My birthday was just on the 8th and I had 2 cars to license.” After receiving the call to be a finalist she prayed without ceasing. “I am beyond appreciative for Wendy’s & Coca Cola for making me feel special.”
Senara Miller is the luckiest of them all as she was just added to the finale minutes before the grand drawing and won. She was enjoying lunch on the inside when her name was called as the Wendy’s & Coca Cola Fast Track Finalist.
Senara jumped with excitement and quickly made her way to the outside to win $2,000 cash. The commotion of the grand finale drew the attention of her kids in which they pleaded to be a part of. She then borrowed monies to buy lunch and turned that into $2,000 thanks to Wendy’s & Coca Cola.
Weekly giveaways totaled $10,000. In efforts to reward the most customers the Summer Cash Bonanza team traveled to Wendy’s busiest locations to provide instant giveaways.
Five winners were selected each week to receive $500 cash; Angelica Beneby, Linda Pierre, Edward Munroe, Frederick Rigby, and Renardo Thompson.
Other lucky customers either spun the prize wheel, played in the wind tunnel or were randomly chosen by Hot 91.7FM Personality Randy C. when they went large to win a prize.
The prizes included $50 Master Card gift cards, gift certificates to the local Zoo, local shopping mall, free bowling at the bowling alley, free Wendy’s, prepaid phone cards and branded promotional items.
Wendy’s and Coca Cola wants to thank Blue Lagoon for the added bonus of two family beach pass giveaways to Blue Lagoon Island which included a scenic boat ride, lunch and access to their beach park.
