On Monday, July 24th, 2017, Barbara Wilson, author, and Mr. Godfrey Thomas, distributor, presented the very first copy of her book "The Rise" to Prime Minister, Dr. The Hon. Hubert A. Minnis.

In the book, Barbara tells her story of how she met and worked with Dr, Minnis as a nurse, then as a pharmaceutical sales representative and then along with as a politician. 

She unfolds her version of the story of who he is, what he endured and how he overcame against all odds, during the five years leading up to him becoming The Prime Minister of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas.

The book is a book of inspiration, motivation and encouragement. It is enlightening and easy to digest. It has deep insight into who Dr. Minnis is as a person, a professional and politician.
