Over the past Labour Day and Whit Monday Holiday weekend, ALIV was the title sponsor for Grand Bahama Homecoming Weekend. The three-year sponsorship is part of ALIV’s commitment to helping to expand the cultural diversity throughout the country.

The weekend was an “overwhelming success” inclusive of a Beach Family Fun Day on Taino Beach on Friday, a Beres Hammond Concert on Saturday and Beach Fete Party on Monday. Beres Hammond had not performed in Grand Bahama in the last ten years and concert attendees from throughout the country showed their appreciation in a major way.

ALIV CAO Damian Blackburn, ALIV VP responsible for Grand Bahama, Richard Stanton, ALIV Events, Sponsorship & Community Manager, Bianca Bethel Sawyer among other ALIV executives were in attendance for the events. Central Grand Bahama MP, Iram Lewis was also in attendance at the concert courtesy of ALIV. 

ALIV also ran a promotion in the run-up to the homecoming weekend where a person had to make a purchase of $100 or more in any of the ALIV stores in New Providence and they would be eligible for an all-expense paid trip to Grand Bahama including their hotel stay and all access passes to all the homecoming activities.
