Growing frustrations over Prince Charles roadwork

Gridlock and bedlam characterized the scene on Prince Charles yesterday afternoon as motorists attempted to turn a one-way diversion into two lanes near Fox Hill Road.
The traffic problem was due to ongoing road construction and inadequate signage to direct traffic.
The Nassau Guardian noticed that only motorists heading east on Prince Charles Drive just before the intersection at Beatrice Avenue were provided with signage warning them that they could not access Fox Hill Road by continuing east and that it was necessary to detour through Beatrice Avenue.
