HBO Presents Premieres of Top Box-Office Every Saturday of March and April

HBO presents films from the top Hollywood studios with exclusive premieres every Saturday of March and April at 22hrs*, offering the best in entertainment to its subscribers in the Caribbean.

The following films will premiere in March, exclusively on HBO:

Ghostbusters – March 4th: Thirty years after the beloved original franchise took the world by storm, Ghostbusters returns with a cast of hilarious new characters. A quartet of female comedic superstars band together to protect New York City for an epic showdown against mischievous ghosts. The film includes performances by Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones.

Barbershop: The Next Cut– March 11th: In the latest installment of the hit comedy franchise, Calvin and the rest of the barbers now work alongside female hairdressers in order to survive harsh economic times. However, they must all band together to come up with a bold plan to stop the violence affecting their Chicago neighborhood. Ice Cube, Cedric the Entertainer, Anthony Anderson, Eve and Sean Patrick Thomas return to the third installment, now joined by Regina Hall, Nicki Minaj and Tyga, among others.

The Huntsman: Winter’s War – March 18th:
Both a prequel and sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman, this film explores the before and after the known story of Snow White. Reprising their roles from the first film, the cast includes Chris Hemsworth and Oscar® winner Charlize Theron, joined by new additions, Oscar® nominated actress Jessica Chastain and Golden Globe® winner Emily Blunt.

The Boss – March 25: Melissa McCarthy stars as an industry magnate who is sent to prison after she was nabbed for insider trading. After serving time, she reemerges determined to rebrand herself as America's latest sweetheart, but quickly learns that those she burned along the way are not as willing to forgive and forget.

The following films will premiere in April, exclusively on HBO:

The Shallows – April 1st: This horror film stars Blake Lively (The Age of Adaline), a woman seeking to surf on a secluded beach once visited by her late mother, when she finds herself on the feeding ground of a great white shark. Though she is stranded only 200 yards from shore, survival proves to be the ultimate test of wills, requiring all of her ingenuity, resourcefulness, and fortitude. The Angry Birds Movie – April 8th: Based on the video game series of the same name that reached epic cult status, this 3D computer-animated action-adventure comedy film sheds lights on the flock of birds that inspired the video game and the source of their anger. The powerhouse cast that lent their voices to this film include: Jason Sudeikis, Danny McBride (HBO’s Eastbound and Down), Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph, and Peter Dinklage (HBO’s Game of Thrones), as well as Kate McKinnon and Tony Hale (HBO’s Veep).

Warcraft – April 15th: Based on the video game series of the same name set in the world of Azeroth, this film was a box-office phenomenon exploring the invasion of an Orc via a magic portal. Now, a few human heroes and Orcs must come together to put an end to the evil behind this war.

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks – April 22nd: Oprah Winfrey and Rose Byrne star in this original HBO film, adaptation of Rebecca Skloot’s critically acclaimed, bestselling nonfiction book of the same name. The film tells the story of Henrietta Lacks, an African-American woman whose cells were used to create the first immortal human cell line. Told through the eyes of her daughter, Deborah Lacks, the film chronicles her search, with the help of journalist Rebecca Skloot, to learn about the mother she never knew and understand how the unauthorized harvesting of Lacks’ cancerous cells in 1951 led to unprecedented medical breakthroughs, changing countless lives and the face of medicine forever

The Conjuring 2 – April 29th: The year is 1977 and a couple of paranormal investigators come out of a self-imposed sabbatical to travel to Enfield, a borough in north London, to examine a case of a child’s demonic possession. As the couple tries to help the besieged girl, they become the next targets of the malicious spirit.
