Swimmers qualify for the Carifta Games and Caribbean champs.

The Barracudas Swim Club's annual KPMG Invitational over the weekend produced a number of qualifiers for the Caribbean Islands Swimming Championships and the Carifta Swimming Championships.

Heading the list of qualifiers at the Betty Kelly Kenning Aquatic Center were Dionisio Carey of the Barracudas and Andreas Weech of the Sea Bees swim club.

Carey, 13, did the CISC standards in both the boys' 13-14 50 butterfly and the 50 backstroke and he even went further when he broke his own open national record of 30.59 in the latter event.
