POLICE and officials from the Department of Civil Aviation are investigating the circumstances surrounding a plane crash on a golf course in western New Providence on Saturday.

According to police reports, shortly after 2pm, the pilot of a small, single-engine plane “escaped serious injury” after landing his aircraft on the golf course.

Police said the pilot was taken to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and later discharged.
