Be forgiving

Now let me commence here today by asking you a very important question.  Now, Listen Up, here goes with the question.  Did you ever hear someone say something like this: "I will never, ever forgive such and such because what he or she did to me was so very hurtful"?

Well My Friend, what's your answer to that simple, straightforward question? Now I'm quite sure it's unfortunately in the affirmative as a whole lot of totally unenlightened people utter such phrases again and again without realizing the damage they are doing, not incidentally to the person whom they refuse point blank to forgive, but to themself. That's right, when anyone refuses to forgive someone for something they perceived another did to them; in the end, the only person whom they're hurting by their infantile, totally unspiritual conduct is themself, believe me.

What so often amazes me is The Fact, that so many who refuse to forgive another purport to be Religious People. My Friend, forgiveness is in fact a most important, spiritual quality for all to develop and practice. Believe me, those who refuse to forgive another are in effect poisoning themself with hate, which will literally eat away at their heart and soul resulting in a miserable life, ill-health, lack of peace of mind and all sorts of psychological problems.

Jesus, The Master Teacher, instructed us to forgive, even our enemies.  Of course, before we forgive another, we need to learn to forgive ourself for our transgressions.  So in conclusion, please, from this day onwards release yourself from The Prison of Unforgiveness and finally become totally free to be all that you can be.
