Minister of Education, Science and Technology the Hon. Jerome Fitzgerald met with the University of The Bahamas Transition Events Committee in the President’s Boardroom, November 8, 2016, and thanked the members of the team for their work and dedication. At the meeting, College of The Bahamas President Dr. Rodney Smith presented the Minister and the College of The Bahamas Council Chairman Dr. Earl Cash with gift packages of University of The Bahamas memorabilia, and he thanked them for making the transition from college to university a reality. The Charter Day for University of The Bahamas is November 10, 2016, celebrated in ceremonies at the Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium.
