A number of Bahamian gospel artists are coming together in an effort to raise funds to assist their countrymen who were impacted by the recent passing of Hurricane Matthew in a concert.

Bishop Denczil Rolle & Friends, Landlord, Edison Sumner & Voices of Praise, Terrance Forbes, Christian Massive, Emily Williams, Shaback, DJ Counsellor, Monique Terez, Nehemiah Hield, V Mac, Solo, and Necole Watson & Prophetic Praise and Pastor Simeon Outten have signed on for the Kevin "Minister K" Harris produced concert that has been dubbed "Restoration: A Hurricane Relief Gospel Concert".

The event is scheduled for Sunday, November 13 at Evangelistic Temple, Collins Avenue at 7 p.m. Admission is free, but organizers are encouraging people planning to attend to bring a donation of $10 or more as their contribution to fundraising initiative.

"We would also like to encourage persons coming to the concert to bring food items as well [which] will be boxed and distributed to families who have been affected in Andros, Grand Bahama and in New Providence," said Harris.

Concert organizers have teamed up with "Project Hope", the national relief arm of Bahamas Harvest Church who will oversee organization and distribution of all donated food items.

The concert is being held in conjunction with the Bahamas Christian Council and Save Our Bahamas.
