The Bahamian Gospel Music Community will come together to host a fund raising concert to assist Bahamians impacted by the recent passing of Hurricane Matthew. The event which is entitled “Restoration – A Hurricane Relief Gospel Concert” is scheduled to be held on Sunday November 13th 2016 at Evangelistic Temple on Collins Ave beginning at 7:00PM.

A number of our top local gospel recording artists have already confirmed their support and participation including Bishop Denczil Rolle & Friends, Landlord, Edison Sumner & Voices of Praise, Terrance Forbes, Christian Massive, Emily Williams, Shaback, DJ Counsellor, Monique Terez, Nehemiah Hield, V. Mac, Solo and several others including Necole Watson & Prophetic Praise who will jump start the event with Praise & Worship. The concert will feature a special live performance from Pastor Simeon Outten out of Freeport Grand Bahama.

The event which is being produced by Radio Personality and Harris Media Group CEO Kevin “Minister K.” Harris is being held in conjunction with the Bahamas Christian Council and Save Our Bahamas. “We are thankful to Rev. Dr. Ranford Patterson and the Bahamas Christian Council as well as the members of Save Our Bahamas for lending their full support to this national fund raising effort” says Kevin Harris.

Admission to the concert will be FREE of charge but organizers are encouraging those planning to attend to bring a donation of $10 or more as their contribution to the hurricane fund raising initiative.

“We would also like to encourage persons coming to the concert to bring food items as well. These food items will be boxed and distributed to families who have been affected in Andros, Grand Bahama and in New Providence says event coordinator Kevin “Minister” Harris. Concert organizers have teamed up with “Project Hope”, the national relief arm of Bahamas Harvest Church who will oversee organization and distribution of all donated food items.

“We will like to thank all churches, businesses and media houses who have come on board as sponsors to assist us with this national event. We are also indeed grateful to Rev. Dr. Vaughn Cash, the Board and the Members of Evangelistic Temple for their kind generosity in donating the use of their sanctuary and facilities to host the concert says Harris”.
