Nassau Guardian - Commissioner of the Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF) Ellison Greenslade
said he is excited about the newly formed relationship and the various
steps taken by some sporting federation heads and 'We The People
Bahamas', to combat crime in the country. The initiative to use sports
as a vehicle to forge closer relationships with the Bahamian youth has
been launched through a Police Athletic League (PAL).

The community based league here in the country will also operate under
the slogan 'Before kids can go places, they need a place to go.'
