AN 18-year-old woman was shot in the back of the head and killed early Thursday morning in front of a home in Jubilee Gardens.

The incident happened shortly after 6am off Firetrail Road and brought the country's murder count to 83 for the year, according to the Tribune's records.

Officer in Charge of the Central Detective Unit Superintendent Ashton Greenslade said police had few details on the homicide but he expected a break in the case "very soon" as officers were canvassing the area and going door to door.
