Top Bahamian entertainer Dillon ‘D MAC’ McKenzie will join fellow Caribbean Entertainers from around the region at Top Dawg Entertainment’s inaugural ‘242 Caribana Music Festival’ on Saturday September 24th at The Botanical Gardens in Nassau.

The event, which is described by organizers as a collective initiative to show the world Caribbean culture - specifically music, literature, food and social views – is being used as a platform to raise awareness on the increasing problem of violence against women.

DMAC will be backed by the multi-talented ‘All for One Band’ when he hits the stage this coming Saturday and the audience can look forward to an exceptionally high energy performance, bursting with sweet Rake ‘N’ Scrape music, the quintessential element of the DMAC sound.

McKenzie stated, “It’s an exciting moment for the DMAC Brand. I invite all of my Caribbean brothers and sisters to support and show love for the 242 Caribana Music Festival. I’m honoured to represent Bahamian music and do my part in raising awareness about violence against women.”

'242 Caribana Music Festival' will be hosted by Haiti's former President Michel 'Sweet Micky' Martelly and will also feature performances by artists Ricardo Drue from Antigua, Demarco from Jamaica and various local bands.
