We wish to advise the general public that we have uncovered a fraudulent scheme involving individuals offering unauthorized, deeply discounted tickets on Bahamasair. Upon discovery of this scam, we immediately alerted the appropriate authorities. The police are now involved and have in their custody several individuals related to this scheme.

We wish to further advise that any purchase of tickets for travel on Bahamasair outside of our approved sales channels (Palmdale ticket office, Oakes Field ticket office, Freeport ticket office, all airport counters, and authorized travel agencies) will be denied for travel.

Additionally, any purchase of tickets for individuals other than the cardholder will require proper identification and proof of authorization of usage in order to be processed for travel.
