PASTOR Silas Napoleon McKinney is to be given a state-recognised funeral on Sunday at Hillview Seventh Day Adventist Church, Tonique Willliams-Darling Highway at 10am, the Cabinet Office announced on Friday.

Pastor McKinney, formerly of Landrail Point, Crooked Island, died on July 16 aged 89. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth, his five children, six grandchildren and two great children.

Viewing for the public will be at Bethel Brothers Morticians, 44 Nassau Street, on Saturday from noon to 6pm and on Sunday from 9am until service time at the Church. The public is invited to attend.
