Photos, emails and phone calls shot back and forth as flames spread from Kelly's dockyard to the Betty K offices and spread to nearby buildings in downtown Nassau this morning.

According to The Tribune, the fire started at 7.45am and spread west to the nearby Bacardi Store. By 9.51am the fired had spread to the Churchill Building and the Cabinet office. 

Court proceedings were halted until 1pm. In the latest update - 11.15am - firemen were using pumps to draw water from the harbour. Flammable material inside the Betty K building was feeding the fire which did not seem to be under control.
