Ankle bracelets ordered on men facing gun charges

A court yesterday ordered that two men accused of illegal firearm possession be electronicly monitored with ankle bracelets as a bail condition.
Magistrate Guillimina Archer set bail at $10,000 for Khalil Thompson, who police allegedly found in possession of a 9mm pistol and 10 bullets on February 7. He returns to court on March 9 for the start of his trial.
The trial of Henry Humes begins on March 16. Police allegedly found Humes with a .38 caliber revolver, 20 bullets for the handgun and 10 bullets for a .40 caliber handgun on January 29. Archer set his bail at $15,000.
On Tuesday, Archer convicted Johnny Beaubrin of having an unlicensed 9mm pistol in 2008.
