Two men accused of involvement in a conspiracy to murder a witness will seek bail today.

Ian "Irie" Porter, 45, of Star Estates, and Ramon "Razor" Sweeting, 38, of Coral Harbour, have been in custody for less than two weeks.

Supreme Court Justice Cheryl Grant-Bethell will hear Porter's application and Senior Supreme Court Justice Stephen Isaacs will hear Sweeting's application.

They are accused of conspiring to murder Oneil Marshall, a prospective witness in the abetment to murder trial of Stephen "Die" Stubbs and Giovanni Roberts.

Marshall had been placed in protective custody, but he reportedly left the program. It is unclear if his murder was connected to his proposed testimony.

Marshall's bullet-riddled body was found in a car in the parking lot of the abandoned building that once housed City Meat Market on Market Street around 1 a.m. on May 1.

Jamaric Green, 30, and Caryn Moss, 25, have also been charged in connection with the alleged murder conspiracy.

Police have not charged anyone with Marshall's murder.
