The nationally recognized financial publication, Investor Magazine provided an opportunity for international delegates to the recent Annual General Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) to acquire information on finance and economics in The Bahamas. Dupuch Publications donated 3,500 magazines which were included in the portfolio bags delegates received upon registration.

Further, magazines were prominently displayed in lounge areas around the Baha Mar Convention Centre, the primary venue of the meetings and in the foyer of the ballroom at Melia Nassau Beach resort, where the official opening of the four-day meeting was held. Magazines were also available at the various registration kiosks in the convention center and at the various hotels that provided accommodations for delegates.

The availability of the magazine provided exposed the visiting delegates to the quality of financial publications produced in The Bahamas and served as a welcome addition to the local organizing committee's paraphernalia, used to promote The Bahamas as a global financial center and first-class destination for hosting international meetings, conferences and conventions. The conclave, which attracted more than 3,000 delegates, was described as a major success. Cintia Guimaraes, who headed the IDB's Washington-based organizing team, said "This was by far one of the best annual meetings of the bank."
