We all know that it's an easy decision to read The Nassau Guardian. I mean you would be crazy not to, given its informative and sparkling content. If only our other daily decisions were so clear cut. So if you're someone who struggles to make decisions, then just decide to read this first.

This is because help is at hand with '23 Anti-Procrastination Habits: How to Stop Being Lazy and Get Results in Your Life' by S.J Scott who aims to help you with improving your decision making. We would all like to be more productive, but the temptation is to put off important tasks as we become overwhelmed by conflicting demands.  In other words, "procrastination" causes you to feel stressed when you're not completing tasks in a timely manner.

The author's solution is to develop an "anti-procrastination mind-set" where you take action on a daily basis and avoid becoming swamped by your rapidly growing to-do list. This takes the form of "23 Anti-Procrastination Habits", which provides ideas to help you overcome procrastination. In his book Scott explains how this strategy works and offers practical advice on how it can be applied to your life to address the root causes of your procrastination, and most importantly, how to overcome them. Anti-procrastination habits include:

o Identify what's really important in your life, so you can ignore everything else.

o Learn to say "NO" to pointless tasks without angering your boss or friends.

o Start your day by completing the most important projects first.

o Take action on a task; even when you're not in the mood to do it.

o Break down challenging projects into an easy-to-follow blueprint of shorter tasks.

o Complete daily tasks, quickly and easily by utilizing simple time-management techniques.

o Learn how to get motivated when you don't feel like working on a goal.

Adopt the above and Scott claims that when you're presented with a new task you'll make a positive decision on how and when to do it, instead of just putting it off. This good habit will keep you from stressful multitasking, that can lead to feeling overwhelmed and result in excessive tiredness, which can further compound procrastination.

So go on, make that tough decision easy. Just finish reading The Nassau Guardian first.
