A 16-year-old boy was arraigned in Magistrate’s Court yesterday charged with the robbery and murder of Craig Rolle.
It is alleged that the 16-year-old, whose name is being withheld because of his age, and another man killed Rolle on January 30. Rolle, 37, was beaten to death.
It is further alleged that the juvenile robbed Rolle of a gold chain and pendant valued at $5,000. That incident is alleged to have occurred on January 28.
Rolle was robbed and beaten January 28 during an altercation near his home at Buttonwood Avenue, Pinewood Gardens. He died in the hospital on January 30, according to police.
The teen was not required to plead to the murder or robbery with violence charges.
