Cable Bahamas (CBL) has announced that beginning this month, all Pay-Per-View (PPV) movies will only be available on its REV On Demand VOD platform, channel 500.

The transition of pay-per-view movies to the REV On Demand catalogue gives customers the ability to browse and enjoy over 4,000 hours of video content, including Hollywood's latest hits, classic films, concert specials, documentaries and critically-acclaimed series on their own schedule, with the ability to pause, fast forward, rewind, and view later for up to 48 hours depending on the title.

CBL Vice President of Marketing David Burrows said the move is an exciting transition for REV On Demand, noting that CBL is always striving to deliver the best entertainment experience to subscribers.

"Video on demand platforms are gaining prominence around the world," Mr Burrows said. "Similarly, our customers demand greater access to diverse content they can enjoy at their convenience. We're constantly working to meet this need, whether it's updating our content daily, delivering blockbuster premieres monthly or working closely with partners like HBO and FOX+ to secure additional programming."

REV On Demand delivers access to a wide range of free and paid content that customers can explore and enjoy on their own schedule. The REV On Demand library comprises family-friendly movies, karaoke and local programming - some of which are available for free - as well as concerts, special events and two to three day movie rentals.

While pay-per-view movies have relocated to REV On Demand, customers can still access a variety of adult programmes, live sporting events and other specials on pay-per-view.
