Pintard working the streets

Dear Editor,

There is always a battle between a man's pride and his position in life. Some of the most successful people are so because they have found a balance between their position in life and their pride.
The chairman of the FNM has proven that he allows neither position, pride nor place in society stop him from his mission to help heal our land.
Anyone you ask about the current state of affairs in our country will offer answers so similar they are shocking. To sum it up in one word - bleak.
Senator Pintard is working on the streets behind the scenes to help bring balance and restore order as crime remains the country's number one problem. He has been seen working the street boys, the leaders, the 'known' triggermen, all in an attempt to bring some level of normalcy to a Bahamian day where a murder has almost come to be expected.
Have there been people before him that have tried? Sure. I salute brother Khalfani, young Bostwick, Terry Delancey, Scrooge and others.
Pintard is working below the street lights, with no camera or news station in sight, to help heal our land. So it's sad that some members of the government criticize him for working with people who had problems with the law or those who are looking to get out of a life of crime.
So I say cheers to him and his team in the efforts they are pursuing without recognition.
Pintard puts his position to the side all for the Bahamian people. Hubert Minnis' inner city plan will work with men like Pintard, Bostwick and Frankie Campbell onboard.
